A wake up call I’ve considered myself a drivdn good Christian doing mission work and being saved out of a rebellious past. As Reginald Kimbo argues, dispensationalists must recognize the error, admit that it continues in the system, be clear on the soteriological effects of it, and entirely repudiate it.
Can your mind take in the endlessness of the universe? Backed up by extensive Biblical scripture and with the use of an allegory for illustration. Because it felt like there were so many great examples and insights which every Christian should really pay close attention to. There is a reason why I don’t read many charismatic authors, they usually have poor exegetical practices. If it’s good, it must be God. It was clear that they loved him and craved the interaction.
If serving God is an obligation, you have entered into a legalistic relationship, and it will be hard to keep His commandments. Having sold over half a million copies in the UK alone, his overview of Christianity has been imitated many times, but never outdone.

That’s rare but refreshing. Explaining the characters of the play and introducing the behaviours of different types of Christians on the first chapters. When one of them would get too loud, or play too rough, and he corrected them, they immediately modified their behavior at least for the moment!
