Interesting read about a man who knows the value of both physical fitness and spiritual fitness. Jan 20, Paul Amerigo rated it it was amazing. I’m not saying that this is a book for everyone, but I loved every word of it. Constructing The CrossFit Games. Great for anyone who loves a good book about athletes, fitness or overall wellness.
But it takes more than physical strength to compete and win at an elite level. So, yes, I quite liked this. This would be a good book for someone that is considering crossfit training and want’s to be inspired to participate in that specific realm. He addresses many questions, such as those who accuse him of using drugs, and those who say he preaches Christianity too publicly.
Rich Froning has of course gone on to win the Crossfit Games four times as an individual – a feat which to date is unmatched by any Games athlete. I really enjoyed this book. Ships from and sold by Amazon. Froning put as much effort into writing a compelling and colorful story as he does into his multiple daily workouts, it would likely come out with a higher rating. It is a story of faith and trust, Rich tells how he is addicted to Cross Fit and how his faith in GOD is the real reason he is able I especially enjoyed the details of his struggle to determine his purpose and his stories regarding his faith.
It’s a little preachy at points, but he’s entitled to that. Along the way, Rich shares invaluable training tips, motivational techniques, and spiritual insights that, in keeping with the CrossFit philosophy, will prepare you to respond to any real-life physical, mental and spiritual challenge.
