Besides the refrain of the song beginning with the words “Bhaja Govindam”, Shankaracharya is said to hbaja sung twelve other verses. Hence, the hymn bears the title “Dvadasamanjarika- Stotra ” A hymn which is a bunch of twelve verse-blossoms. Subbulakshmi is very popular.
