Inspired by Your Browsing History. I personally choose historical, paranormal romance for the happy ever after that is “typical” rather than what Smalll found in this novel. The Duke of Deception. There is no cohesive plot, just events that happen with a bit of randomness thrown in out of left-field towards the end. Once you begtrice used to the rather annoying changes in perspective and the dry writing style, the book does have its charm.
